Project Sanctuary
"Helping Our Nation's Heroes Finally Come Home"
Project Sanctuary is a national nonprofit headquartered in Granby, CO that takes military families from battle-ready to family-ready through outdoor, therapeutic retreats in a healing environment. Ongoing family support services follow each retreat. Project Sanctuary believes that the whole family serves, and the best way to "support the troops" is by supporting the family. Their therapeutic retreats enable military families to reconnect and reintegrate into their communities through education, innovative services, supportive follow through (not to mention FUN). WPCC's Military Ministry is led by Neil and Mary Willems. They help support Project Sanctuary Retreats held at YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch by providing a dinner for the participants each month. Neil and Mary also serve in many other ways at the Project Sanctuary Retreats. Click HERE for additional information.
